Bruce is Senior Geoscience Advisor for EON. He has provided technical expertise for environmental and policy organizations for three decades in the areas of geologic and atmospheric sciences. He provides geotechnical support for EON’s effort to advance supercritical geothermal energy and serves as a liaison for EON on advanced geothermal efforts in China. He received his Ph.D. in geology from Stanford University, and his B.A. in geology from the University of Vermont. Dr. Hill is also Chief Geoscientist for Clean Air Task Force (CATF) and leads collaborative efforts in China to advance CCS. He has worked with colleagues in China and the U.S. for half a decade to helping build CCS networks, organize U.S.-China bilateral discussions on CCS, technical workshops and field study technical tours. He has also worked in China to promote best practices in unconventional gas development Dr. Hill also provides expert technical consultation on state and federal carbon storage, unconventional oil and gas and air pollution regulatory and legislative efforts. Dr. Hill has served on federal advisory committees, testified in front of state and federal agencies and Congress, and is a member of the International Standards Organization technical committee ISO TC 265 on carbon capture and storage.
